This is a company based in india selling webcam in the US. Webcam has become a commodity at this point, costing under 1000 rs. Accompanying software and storage, apps are become differentiating factor. For example, cams are sold for 16 usd, but storage plan is 100 usd per year. This is all razor and blade business model.

The reason I shared it here to understand the architecture of how they are doing this. After talking to aditya, we understood that camera has a hisilicon like soc which does object detection for people and car in addition to motion detection. These events then get sent to online framework for further processing which identifies niche events e.g. baby crying, someone falling etc.
